European Customer Visit to Mejec | 1,000 Household Wastewater Treatment Systems Ordered

A recent visit from European customers to Mejec has developed into a large-scale household wastewater treatment project, with an order placed for 1,000 sets of systems designed for 5–10 users.

The project is intended for modular housing, where the way homes are constructed is changing how supporting infrastructure is planned. Modular units can be manufactured and deployed efficiently across different locations, but wastewater treatment cannot always rely on existing municipal sewer networks—particularly when projects are developed in remote, newly planned, or decentralized areas.

This creates a need for wastewater treatment equipment that can be standardized, compact, and deployed alongside individual housing units.

During their visit, the European customers discussed these requirements with the Mejec team, focusing on how household wastewater treatment could be integrated into the modular housing project and replicated across a large number of residential units.

The resulting 1,000-set order is therefore more than a single equipment purchase. It reflects a broader shift toward decentralized wastewater infrastructure for modular and flexible residential development, where standardized treatment units can be planned as part of the housing system from the beginning.
