Frequently Asked Questions

How do these systems handle facilities that are busy only a few days a month?

The control system automatically identifies inflow volume and drops the blower into an energy-saving mode when load falls away, then ramps back up on demand. The AAO+MBBR and MBR processes also tolerate shock loads well, which is what a stadium or a seasonal scenic area actually needs.

Can a unit run where there is no mains power?

The LD Scavenger draws under 40 W and is offered with a 50 W solar power system, which makes it viable at trailhead restrooms, campsites and other off-grid public facilities. It uses a CASS process and produces effluent at COD below 60 mg/L, BOD₅ below 20, suspended solids below 20, ammonia-nitrogen below 15 and total phosphorus below 1 mg/L.

Who operates the plant day to day?

Nobody needs to be on site. The PLC control cabinet supports manual, automatic and remote operation, pushes fault alarms by SMS or WeChat, records power consumption and inflow and outflow, doses chemicals automatically based on pH and stores its maintenance history behind a QR code on the cabinet door.

Can a containerised unit be moved to another site later?

Yes. The containerised range keeps the standard container form and its transport function, so units can be relocated and reused. That suits temporary venues, phased public works and emergency deployment.

Is there support for planning a whole network rather than a single site?
