Frequently Asked Questions

What capacity range do you cover?

The MJ-AF-PW modular plant runs from 0.5 to 100 T/h with installed power from 0.5 to 180 kW, and accepts 110 V, 220 V or 380 V at 50 or 60 Hz. Below that, the AF-SC platform is configurable from 1 to 20 L/min with a rated capacity of 3,000 to 200,000 L, and the Mejec-FS central purifier handles 0.6 to 3.0 m³/h.

Do we need a pre-filter?

On most industrial mains, yes. The MJ-AF-Pre-filter intercepts sediment, rust and particulates at 100, 200 or 300 μm through a stainless mesh using purely physical filtration, so it does not clog and the element is not consumed. It runs 35–55 m³/h on a DN80 connection at PN16. Fitting one protects every membrane and cartridge downstream and extends their service life.

Can the system be configured for our specific raw water?

That is the normal way we work. Output, voltage, layout and the process train itself are all configured to your raw water analysis and site constraints. Send a water report with your required output in T/h and the standard you need to meet, and we will propose a train.

How is a centralised system laid out across several buildings?

The AF-SC is a modular platform: units can be placed singly or combined in multiple sets, and mount against walls at 90°, 180°, 270° or 360°, which makes it practical to distribute drawing points across a campus or park rather than running long pipe runs from one machine.

What maintenance does an industrial RO plant need?

The Mejec-FS central purifier performs automatic backwash and regeneration without operator involvement, reactivating its activated carbon and running backwash and forward-wash cycles on its own. The pre-filter is available in a fully automatic version with a manual override, and the frame-structure design of the MJ-AF-PW is built specifically for straightforward operation and maintenance access.
